CLEAR AARE SLATE WATER FROM A DEPTH OF 40 METRES IS USED FOR AARESÜDHANG ORGANIC DRINKS.
Our water originates from the Aar glacier in the Bernese Alps. Melted by the sun, it flows powerfully through the Aare gorge to Lakes Brienz and Thun. From there, it makes its way through Bern, flows gleefully along the southern slope of the Aare and then seeps away very slowly in the Bernese Seeland through the Aare shale to a depth of 40 metres. Filtered through rock and sand, the crystal-clear water then finds its way into our bottles.
Since 70% of our product consists of water and our name is AareSüdhang, it stands to reason that water worlds are very close to our hearts. We are lucky to have such healthy waters and fresh drinking water available in Switzerland.
