Organic baking mix for cinnamon rolls
With My Cinnamon Rolls baking mix from Biovegan, you can finally prepare the classic pastry easily at home, gluten-free and vegan.

The baking mix contains Ceylon cinnamon from controlled organic cultivation, which gives the spicy, delicious flavour that cinnamon rolls are known for. The distinctive aroma will delight you and make your mouth water, for sure ;-)

Preparation of baking mix vegan cinnamon rolls
For your cinnamon rolls you also need:

» 90g vegan margarine
» 7g Yeast
» 250ml lukewarm water
» Hand mixer with dough hook

Preparation:

Combine the flour mixture and yeast in a bowl and mix everything together. Now add 50g soft margarine and water and knead everything for about 3 minutes with the hand mixer with dough hook. Let the dough rest in a warm place for 30 minutes, covered with a damp kitchen towel.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle (approx. 30 x 40 cm). Some gluten-free flour can be used to help with this. Now brush the dough with the remaining 40 g of the soft margarine, leaving an approx. 3 cm wide edge, which you brush with water before rolling up. Sprinkle the margarine evenly with the sugar and cinnamon mixture and then carefully roll the dough into a roll, starting from the long side.

Cut them into slices about 2 to 3 cm thick and place the cinnamon rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Let the cinnamon rolls rest for 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 °C for circulating air or 200 °C for top/bottom heat and place a bowl filled with water in the oven.

Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 13 minutes.

Tip:
They taste delicious when warm. You can also fill them with pudding and raisins, chopped nuts, nut butter or chocolate & banana pieces. Or cover it with frosting.
