Biovegan Organic Baking Mix My Crusty Bread

» Made from wholemeal oat flour

» 450 ml water
» 3 tbsp (30 ml) vinegar (e.g. apple vinegar)
» Hand mixer with dough hook
» Dough scraper


1. Preheat the oven to 250 °C convection or top/bottom heat and place an ovenproof dish filled with water in the oven. Place your bread mix, water and vinegar in a mixing bowl and mix briefly with a hand mixer and dough hook until a smooth dough is formed (max. 1 to 2 minutes). Do not knead the dough too long!

2. Now gently push the dough together in the bowl with a dough scraper and leave it in the bowl for 15 minutes until the oven is well preheated. 3.

3. Now, without kneading, carefully tip the dough out of the bowl (use the dough scraper if necessary) onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Do not knead the dough any more, otherwise it will not be airy! The rough surface creates a rustic crusty bread look after baking.
