Binding Agent Locust Bean Gum Gluten Free Organic, 100g

Biovegan Locust bean gum is the ideal thickener for your hot food.

Locust bean gum is very versatile and is particularly suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. It is obtained from the fruit of the carob seed tree. The tree is cultivated ecologically and sustainably. The tree thrives even in poor, nutrient-poor and dry soil. The roots of the carob seed tree loosen the dry soil and protect it from erosion. In hot areas, the leafy tree provides shade for animals and gives them an important habitat. It is grown 100% without pesticides, which gives carob seed flour its high organic quality. The seeds obtained from the fruit are ground to make Planet Nature's organic carob bean gum. Organic locust bean gum swells in cold water and is soluble in hot water. It is therefore a binding and thickening agent and is suitable for vegan cooking and baking. Locust bean gum can also be found on lists of ingredients with the E number E410.
