From conviction and passion Since 1977, claro has been actively involved in fair trade. Food, textiles and handicrafts are procured with our long-standing partners in the south - once called the Third World. Our trading partners are small-scale producers from marginal areas and produce high-quality products in a socially and ecologically sustainable manner. With our demand, we promote biodiversity in small-scale agriculture and support social projects with our activities. For the products of our partners in the South, claro fairtrade opens sales channels in the countries of the north. Whenever possible, the trade is carried out directly, in long-term relationships, with sales in personal, manageable structures. Thus a relationship of trust between the producers there and the consumers is built up here. This mutual trust is the basis of our business.

GMO Statement

Organic products are produced without genetic engineering. The use of genetically modified organisms or their derivatives is prohibited in organic farming and processing and contradicts the self-understanding of the organic industry.
