When chickpea fan Zeevi Chaimovitch moved from Isreal to Berlin a few years ago, he wanted to promote delicious vegan products from his home country, the Middle East, in Germany. Since his fresh hummus was very well received by the catering industry, he was looking for more products from chickpeas. As he stumbled upon the Myanmar chickpea tofu, he was immediately enthusiastic: "The chickpea tofu, known as shan tofu, is such a simple, tasty and healthy alternative to soy-based tofu that I could not believe it would not be a producer in Europe Find."
Together with the founder of TRY FOODS, Jörn Gutowski and the Berlin tofu manufacturer Markus driver (driver Tofu) Zeevi developed the idea for the chickpea tofu. The Dreier team brings all its experience and passion to be the first company to offer chickpea tofu in Germany.
