The classic patties, shaped like a burger, from the seitan manufacture with a naturally mild taste can be used in many ways. For example as a veggie burger, as a meat alternative to vegetables and wok, stuffed in a sandwich and much more!
How to use:
Fry in a pan over medium heat with the addition of oil for four to six minutes, season if necessary and then serve immediately. When added to soups, sauces or stews, the seitan gets a smoother consistency and stays nice and juicy. Either fry with the other ingredients at the beginning, or add later as an insert. When preparing in the oven, make sure that there is enough liquid (e.g. in the casserole) or add it towards the end of the baking time (e.g. on pizza or tarte flambée).
