The red marine algae is a versatile culinary delight. They taste delicately nutty and can be used in various vegan sushi varieties. You can also crush the leaves and use as a seasoning for soups, tofu, vegetables or rice dishes.

Nori, is the Japanese word for 'seaweed' The sheets thus obtained can be used to wrap boiled rice (make vegan sushi) or finely chopped as seasoning. Nori is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium and vitamin C.
