Usage

The organic cotton nut milk bag is finer and therefore suitable for very smooth plant-based milks, whereas the slightly coarser organic linen nut milk bag is better for vegan cheese. However, both bags can do everything.

Nut and Seed Milk
1. Soak raw nuts, almonds, sesame, oats, etc., for several hours (for seeds: overnight) in water—this activates enzymes and breaks down antinutrients, improving milk digestibility.
2. Rinse the activated nuts or seeds and blend them with water in a blender.
3. Pour the mixture into the nut milk bag and gently squeeze the bag by hand to “milk” the liquid into a container. Best enjoyed fresh.
4. The pulp in the bag can be dried or frozen and later used for other recipes such as crackers, raw breads, cookies, or soups.

Fruit Sauces / Green Juices
With the above procedure, you can also easily strain fibers and seed components from vegetables, leafy greens, and fruits from a mixture to smooth your dessert sauce or smoothie. Your nut milk bag then acts as a very fine sieve that can be squeezed.

Vegan Cheese
Follow your favorite recipe for raw nut cheese. After blending the cheese mixture, place it in the bag and let it hang to ferment. Catch the whey in a bowl.

Sprout Cultivation
1. Soak sprouting seeds for several hours in water.
2. Place them in the bag, rinse thoroughly, and let the seeds sprout in the hanging bag.
3. Water twice daily until shoots appear. Ideal for space-saving sprout cultivation while traveling.

Tea / Cold Infusion
For “raw” tea, you often need large amounts of leaves, bark, stems, roots, or flowers. Most tea strainers cannot handle this. Simply hang your tea plants in the nut milk bag in lukewarm water and let them steep for the required time, saving you from incomplete straining afterward.

Easy Cleaning
To clean, turn the bag inside out, rinse it under running warm water, and wring it out well. Then, simply air dry it or wash it in the washing machine.
