Organic White Quinoa Real is packed with protein - it's a "complete protein" containing all essential amino acids - and is also high in minerals.Quinoa is a grain that's now a very popular alternative to rice or couscous. It cooks in the same way, taking 10-15 minutes in boiling water to bring out a soft, fluffy consistency. Serve quinoa wherever rice or couscous can be used: with curries, tagines and casseroles, or in salads. Nutritious and versatile.
Usage:
Pour quinoa into a saucepan. Use one cup of quinoa per person. Cover the quinoa with boiling water, 2cm above the level of the quinoa. Fit a lid and bring to a simmer. Turn the heat right down and simmer for 10-15 minutes until all of the water has evaporated. When the the consistency of the quinoa is light and fluffy, it is ready to serve.
