Green lentils from Rapunzel Organic in raw food quality for salads, spreads, soups and as a side dish.Fine nutty delicacy. The small, green speckled lentils are characterised by their nutty, spicy taste. They are firm in cooking and therefore do not fall apart during cooking.
The lentils are grown in the Castilla-La Mancha wetlands in Spain. The area, which was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1980, serves as a habitat for many bird species. The organic cultivation of the lentils promotes biodiversity and at the same time serves as a food source for the birds.

IFS ensures food safety and the quality of processes and products.
During the annual IFS audit an extensive catalogue of specifications is checked by external inspectors. A wellfunctioning HACCP system is one of the basic requirements. To this end, risk analyses are performed in order to prevent any health hazards for the consumer.
Also required for the IFS certification are specifications for supplier selection and evaluation. Outsourced processes are assessed with respect to their compliance with relevant quality and safety requirements.
