Raw materials sourced from organic cultivation form the basis for all NATURATA chocolates. We use raw cane sugar as a sweetener. This comes from the small ´Manduvirá´ farming project in Paraguay. This project allows farmers to benefit from fair trading relationships. We also buy from partners in South America who supply us with the finest cocoa from the ´Norandino´ FAIRTRADE cooperative in the north of Peru. The independent FAIRTRADE Mark guarantees that the sugar and cocoa in this chocolate fulfils the international standards for fair trade. By enjoying NATURATA chocolates, you are helping to promote fairer cooperation.
NATURATA chocolate is made in Switzerland according to traditional methods. Fine, selected ingredients and tried-and-tested recipes give the chocolate its incomparable flavour. The chocolate gets its tantalising, melt-in-the-mouth texture through conching. Since a long conching process makes for a delicate, smooth melt and the typical chocolate flavour, NATURATA chocolates are conched for a particularly long time (up to 72 hours, depending on the variety). We use cocoa butter instead of soya lecithin in our chocolates, which means they are guaranteed free of genetically modified additives and, what´s more, get their premium-quality flavour.
