Bio Planète Organic Virgin Avocado Oil - Naturally resistant to high temperatures.The ancient Maya and Aztecs already called this pear-shaped fruit »butter of the forest« many centuries ago, alluding to its smooth, buttery taste.
Our BIO PLANÈTE Avocado Oil is fair trade certified. The fruits are cultivated by small farmers in Central and West Kenya. Right there after the harvest, the flesh of the avocado is gently cold-presssed. This guarantees that the avocados’ precious nutrients – for instance its high vitamin E content – are fully preserved.
Due to its exceptionally high smoke point of 250 °C/ 482 °F, avocado oil is ideal for baking, stir frying and pan frying. With its tender taste of fresh avocado, it brightens up salads, vinaigrette, and dips. Natural cosmetics enthusiasts prize this high-grade, natural oil for the treatment of dry or damaged hair.
Suitable not only for vegetarians, vegans but also for a raw food diet.
Heat resistance: Highly heatable. Do not exceed smoke point.
