Shea butter for cooking and baking
This Shea Butter is spreadable, neutral in taste and highly heatable. In many African countries, this soft butter is therefore traditionally used as a frying and baking fat. The special thing about it: BIO PLANÈTE Shea Butter gives baked goods a deliciously crispy brown colour. It is also suitable as a vegan spread and can be used in a similar way to animal butter - shea butter offers about 50 percent more unsaturated fatty acids.
Shea butter in cosmetic applications
Shea butter is THE specialist for stressed skin. The replenishing, soothing organic butter from the nuts of the shea tree regulates the moisture content of the skin and increases its elasticity. Even stressed and chapped skin becomes velvety, soft and supple again. Pure for particularly dry skin areas or as a rich, consistency-giving ingredient for body butters, balms and ointments.
As a fragrance-neutral protective balm for chapped hands and dry lips or as an ointment base for adding essential oils.

Application Organic Shea Butter
Mix with organic nourishing oil in a 60:40 ratio for a creamier consistency.
Recipe for a regenerating lip balm:
Gently warm 3 g jojoba oil in a glass in a water bath. Add 7 g shea butter, remove from the water bath and melt carefully. Do not allow to get too hot and always stir well for a good consistency, allow to cool briefly. Then stir in 2 g sea buckthorn fruit oil and 1 drop essential oil lemon balm 10%, fill into a jar (approx. 15ml) and leave to cool well.
Recipe for a protective baby balm:
In a water bath, gently melt 75ml of shea butter. Using a wooden stick, stir in 25ml of argan oil (strengthens the skin barrier and protects) well to make an even mixture and leave to cool slightly.
Mix in 1-2 drops of essential oil lavender fine (calms the skin as well as restless minds) or rose (the classic for baby skin), pour into a jar and leave to cool well.
