Flax Seeds are full of omega fatty acids and protein. They can be sprinkled into your breakfast cereal, added to your fruit and nut mixes or used in baking to add extra fibre to the diet. Brown Flax seeds have a slightly nutty flavour.
You can also make flax seed crackers by mixing flax seeds with enough water to cover them, leaving them to soak for an hour or two, pressing into biscuit shapes and dehydrating slowly in a very low-temperature oven or dehydrator.
