Oat Drink "No" Sugars, 1l
Oatly Oat Drink "No" Sugars - The classic completely without added sugar» No added sugar due to a different production process
» Oat-based
Why is this "no" in inverted commas? It's simple: because Oatly doesn't let itself take the margarine off the bread when it comes to transparency. Because the "No" Sugars oat drink is not produced using the usual production process in which the starch is first broken down into natural sugar. But this process still takes place - in your body. As with all carbohydrates - and all oat drinks - the starch is only broken down into sugar once it is in the body. That's why yes: no sugar added.
But no: the consumption is not sugar-free. But that is the case with all foods that contain starch, such as potatoes, bread, etc.
STORAGE NOTE: Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 5 days. Shake well before use.

Everything we make, we make on Swedish oats. If you are wondering what makes Swedish oats so special, the answer is very simple. They grow strong and tall in the Nordic climate, which is a crazy mix of long sunny days (and nights in the summer) mixed with short periods of intense rain. Moreover, many of the nasty pesticides that are used on oats in the rest of Europe are totally forbidden in Sweden. And the minimal traces of heavy metals that you find in regular Swedish oats are not significantly greater than those found in organic Swedish oats and fall well below what is considered to be safe for consumption. And this makes Swedish oats rather unique.
Now some of you might have noticed that it says It’s Swedish! on the front of our packages and then you turn them around and it says they are produced in Germany. That’s weird, isn’t it? The truth is that 2 of our products are actually packaged (not produced) in northern Germany because the packaging facilities there are among the safest in the world. Our fraiche is packaged in Finland for exactly the same reason and soon we will be releasing some new exciting on the go products packaged in an amazing paper can from Austria. All of this is pretty logical if you think about it, after all we are a small Swedish company with a large international fan base.
But just so you understand completely and don’t feel compelled to tell the entire internet that we aren’t really Swedish, everything — and that means everything — we make is produced in a friendly factory by really good people just outside of Landskrona in the south of Sweden and everything is made from real 100% Swedish oats.
